 Spearmint is a perennial plant that grows from 30 cm to 1 meter tall and thrives in temperate climates. It freshens breath and is commonly used in chewing gum, candy and dental care products due to its minty flavor. The sweet, uplifting aroma is cleansing and uplifting, making it ideal for promoting focus and positive moods. Spearmint differs greatly from peppermint: it is milder and therefore a good alternative for topical use in children and people with sensitive skin. In the kitchen, spearmint is often used in salads, drinks and desserts, but also in dressings and marinades for meat dishes.
 
 application
 Add a drop of the oil to your dessert, drink, salad or main course to enhance the flavor.
 For a particularly fresh breath, put some oil on your toothbrush before brushing your teeth.
 For occasional stomach upset, add 1 drop to 125ml of water and drink slowly.
 
 application
 Diffusion:  Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.
 Use as a food additive:  Dilute one drop in 125 ml of liquid.
 External use:  Mix 5 drops with 10 ml carrier oil for massage. As a bath additive, mix 5 drops with 5 ml of carrier oil. As a perfume, mix 1 drop with 10 drops of carrier oil.
